Look at the Chart Below.

Well, I guess this Chart is stupid. Chart says that Only Internet Explorer provides the Security, Privacy, Ease of use and Developer tools. I hardly disagree with this Chart.

Google Chrome & Firefox provides the best Security, IE is just a mess. For sure Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox provides best Privacy and Ease of use.

When we talk about Developer Tools Google Chrome is behind Firefox yet, Firefox do have much better Developer Tools then any other Browser.

I request all the readers to answer these questions below:

Why do you use Firefox? My answer is Fast, Secure & have 1000s of Addons.

Why do you use Chrome? My answer is Simple, Fast & Secure.

Why do you hate Internet Explorer? My answer is It’s just a slow poke, a big mess.

I got this information from Yusuf. Since this is really a important information for Firefox users in Windows I thought of posting it on my blog. First of all I would like to thank Yusuf for sharing this information in MLUG Mailing List.

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 service pack update which is installed through Windows Automatic Update Installs “.NET Framework 3.5 Assistant Firefox Extension to Firefox without asking the user anything.

This update is dangerous and there are bad effects of this update to Firefox users on Windows. This update makes Firefox unsecure as Internet Explorer. This extension allows the websites you visit to, Install softwares on your system without asking anything.

If you have .NET Framework installed along with Firefox remove it immediately. You can remove it by going to addons on firefox and click uninstall.

Most user-friendly way to remove this addon:
1. Open Registry Editor (type regedit in the Start menu Search box in
Vista/Windows 7, or in XP’s Run window).
2. Expand the branches to the following key:
- On 32-bit systems: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Mozilla \
Firefox \ Extensions
- On x64 systems: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Wow6432Node \
Mozilla \ Firefox \ Extensions
3. Delete the value named {20a82645-c095-46ed-80e3-08825760534b} from
the right pane.
4. Close the Registry Editor when you’re done.
5. Open a new Firefox window, and in the address bar, type
about:config and press Enter.
6. Type microsoftdotnet in the Filter field to quickly find the
general.useragent.extra.microsoftdotnet setting.
7. Right-click general.useragent.extra.microsoftdotnet and select
Reset.
8. Restart Firefox.
9. Open Windows Explorer, and navigate to %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Windows
\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\Windows Presentation Foundation.
10. Delete the DotNetAssistantExtension folder entirely.
11. Open the Add-ons window in Firefox to confirm that the
Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant extension has been removed.

Dhiraagu is the Leading Internet Service Provider in Maldives.

2007 October I applied for my 1st Internet Connection for home. October passed & November passed too. But we didn’t get any Bill. So we called them and informed that we didn’t get the bill and We want pay for the Internet Connection. They said They will let us know when to pay and they will send the bills. On December 2007, Finally got the bill for 3 Months. Total MRF2070. I thought this happened only to me due to some problems. So I didn’t complain anybody about this.

I moved to a new house December 2008 and again applied for a new connection. I paid for Connection-Fee on January 17, 2009. On 13 April 2009 I was unable to connect to Internet, so I called Dhiraagu and they said I’ve 3 Bills due. So I asked my mother about the bills and she said she didn’t get any bills. So Again I called Dhiraagu and informed we didn’t get the bill, they said, the person in our home didn’t accept the bill. Funny huh? We are getting STELCO & MWSC Bills every month. This time I argued with them and now I get the bill on time.

One day when I was reading a Friend’s Blog, I saw a post similar to this cases, He’s Internet Connection is Disconnected and 7 Month Bill is due. Read it HERE

2 Days back, I was talking to a friend about some Movies and He said now He can’t download any new movies, He’s Internet Connection is Disconnected. Same thing happened to him, No bills came to home but the Internet Connection was Disconnected after 3 Months.

I think Dhiraagu is making some profits from this! Each time they Disconnect the customer has to pay some ammount (I think MRF100) for reconnecting.
